9/30/2014 1 Comment Get Your Color On!Sometimes we just need to pick up a crayon, turn on some great worship music & COLOR! One of my favorite activities as a kid was coloring in a coloring book with my mom; she'd pull out this huge can of crayons (an old oversized Danish butter cookie can), pull out the Sesame Street & assorted other coloring books and we'd enjoy coloring together. Not much talking - just coloring! We all used to color as kids! Why do we stop as adults? It's therapeutic, relaxing & gives the creative part of our brains a chance to come out and play! I'm sharing this post today because just yesterday I had a crave to simply color; not create something elaborate & precise but just to simply color with crayons. I wanted it to be something based on Scriptures and not super "Sunday-schoolish"/young. So I whipped up the "rejoice" picture below. She came from a simple urge to color with crayons! (You ever get that urge?) Enjoy!
My finished coloring page...listened to Misty Edwards music while coloring...loved it! Lol, I would absolutely love to see your finished coloring page...admit it, it's fun to color! :)

Coloring is also one of my favorite activities to do, especially when I was young. It gives me simple happiness. Nowadays, to put colors on someone else's life means everything. It is like them giving you the importance because you gave them love and respect too! On the other hand, I have to say that the drawings you have shown are all great and I am loving for it! It's a sure thing that I would love to learn how to make those too!
