Page-a-Day Calendar

God is rocking my world with this page-a-day calendar my mom gave me for my birthday! It's called "You're Made for a God-sized Dream" by Holley Gerth and each day is so timely. (Yay God!) Today's page says, "You are the only you we have. That means your God-sized dream happens through you or not at all." I definitely have had a God-sized dream brewing in me for quite some time & this is just the inspiration I need!          What's the God-sized dream in you?

Artistic Style in Development

So yah, I'm an artist in training and like I shared in a previous bloggling, I'm on the 20 year creative plan ;) . I've ALWAYS been creative/artistic from as far as I can remember but honoring that creativity is still a fairly new thing to me. A few days this past month, I felt God encourage me to just sit down & create.  It took obedience from me to just sit and do so. I had to fight the carnal mind that "Oh I should be doing something else; working on something more important that can make me money." Ugh. Praise God for Romans 12:2 which reminds us, "Do not be conformed to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds so we can prove the good, acceptable & perfect will of God." In other words, if I feel like God is encouraging me to create today, then no matter what else I think 'should be' on my to-do list, I create. How do you honor God's calling in your life?

A Leader in the Making

This is the book I want to read in the month of February by one of my faves Joyce Meyer. It's one of those books I pulled off the shelf & read snippets of but honestly I really would like to get through the whole thing. I think I'm gonna' start pursuing my God-sized dream more than ever in 2019 and I think the insights God shares in this book will help me do so. I wanted to share with you a quote from teh book and I just opened up to page 15, "If nobody else in the world believes in you, God does. With that confidence, you can do whatever He wants you to do."  Wow! As I type this, I am remembering that JUST YESTERDAY I was having a pity party that no-one has come alongside me to support my dream and yet here God is encouraging me once again even as I type these very words...How has God encouraged you lately?

Pressing on...

I'm working on a new online space where we can study God's Word & be creative together. You ever come so far on a project, start to overthink it & put it on pause? I think (no pun intended) that's where I'm at. At this point, I should probably just launch it and work out the details & kinks as we go along. I mean how could I possibly get all the details right before I even launch? That's where I need to just take a step of faith...Where is God calling you to step out in faith? P.S. with that said, be on the lookout for an email with an exciting announcement soon! :)
