Hi! How do we reacquaint after this long blog pause? I know! We jump right back into this creative jamboree!

20 Year Plan​
I'm on a #20yearsuccessplan now! Recently God has been reminding me that creativity isn't just a drop in the bucket for me, it's something that I will need to keep at long term. It's part of my dna make-up; part of the way He designed me so...20 years from now if I'm still being CREATIVE and have been CREATIVE all along, then it's a win! This has helped take the pressure off of me to succeed right away. I find myself freer to try new creative endeavors & artistic methods.
Creativity is a way of life God showed me I need to embrace...is there a way of life you need to embrace?

Index Card a Day (icad) by Daisy Yellow
Once again the icad challenge hosted by DaisyYellowArt.com has rocked my world! Every year Tammy Garcia hosts a challenge in June & July to create one piece of magnificent index card art a day. The last time I participated was a few years back and it taught me so much about art & taking risks and sure enough same for this year. Index cards are so inexpensive & non-committal  - you can try a myriad of creative ideas out on them and hardly spend any money (perfect for this recovering cheap-o)!

Father God just makes me smile! He has definitely been taking me through a time of pruning & regrouping and just as I'm sitting on the couch one day contemplating life, creative callings & next steps, Holy Spirit sings an old Jem & the Holograms song in my spirit! Wow! God knew exactly what to do to encourage me. This show was a MAJOR PART of my childhood! God is truly outrageous! ;) How is God inspiring you today?

Well, that should be about it for this time. I've got a whole bunch more stuff I want to share but I'm on the 20 year plan so no hurry ;)!

​*Note to self: I'm writing this bloggling well aware that very likely no-one may read it but I'm using it as a way to organize my creative & inspirational spurts, a way to hold myself accountable and a way to learn & grow. I foresee as I do this, this will (hopeFULLy) morph into something that will end up creatively inspiring others.
